Shortly after 2AM in the height of a blizzard, Engine 3 arrived on location at State and Arnistan to find heavy fire shooting out the rear of a large one story taxpayer. After a short time, the interior attack was abandoned in favour of heavy duty master streams. Two extra engines over the assignment were special called. Three out of four storefronts were occupied at the time of the fire and the building was a total loss.
