From the ConnPost: The storm hampered firefighters battling a blaze at a rooming house on Laurel Avenue in Bridgeport Sunday afternoon, where 17 people were forced out of their apartments and into the snow. Assistant Fire Chief Fred Haschak said 10 of the rooming house's residents were being relocated by the American Red Cross. The others were staying with friends and relatives.
